Broncos News and Notes

According to the Denver Post the NFL could levy a fine against Cory Redding for leading with his head on the play Cutler was injured. As stated previously on Denver's Mile High Sports, I believe that hit on Cutler from Redding, not Shaun Rodgers, was illegal and should have been called a personal foul. Cory Redding clearly led with his helmet, directly hitting Cutler on the lower left leg after Shaun Rodgers had pulled Cutler to the turf. If this had been a hit on Peyton "any commercial" Manning or Tom "my boys can swim" Brady the flags would have been flying.

The Denver Post is also reporting that DE Larry Birdine will be signed to the 53 man roster to replace the injured Jarvis Moss. Berdine is 6-4 265 lbs and played for the University of Oklahoma. He is an undrafted rookie and has been part of the Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers in 2007 .
