Cutler injured during Lions game

This team could not be in worse shape physically. Before the start of the Lion's game the Broncos had 7 starters lost for the season. Now Jay Cutler, Denver's starting QB and 2006 1st round draft pick, could also be in serious jeopardy of being gone for the year. Cutler was injured on a sack by Shaun Rodgersin the second quarter. However it was the boarder line cheap shot by Cory Redding after Cutler was down on the turf that put him out for the remainder of the game. Cory Redding led with his head, directly hitting Cutler on the lower left leg after Shaun Rodgers had pulled Cutler to the turf. He was carted off the field and did not return. Patrick Ramsey replaced Cutler and completed 29 passes on 46 attempts, a touchdown, and a pick 6 to Shaun Rodgers on a busted screen play. Jay Cutler's post game comments were primarily focused around his injury. "I got hit with a helmet on the outside of my leg," he said. "I'll get an MRI. I'm hoping it's not broken, but it could be a hairline. Hopefully, it's just a bruise."
Travis Henry also did not finish the game after hurting his left knee. Henry continued to struggle, only rushing for 31 yards on 9 carries. After the game Henry told the press that he felt fine, but time will tell. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available. (AP Photo/Duane Burleson)
